I intentionally do not always update WP to the latest version as a precaution. However, while I was reactivating JetPack plugin, it automatically updated the WP from 4.9.2 to 4.9.4 and now the Page Builder elements do not work when trying to drag and drop. I click on an element to drag it and nothing happens. I’m running CleanLab 1.0.9 – I assume this is the latest version.April 1, 2018 at 8:40 pm #6059
I am not aware of any incompatibility between the theme and WP 4.9.4. The latest CleanLab version is 1.1.0, but there is no compatibility fix since the version that you are running. So updating the theme, probably won’t fix your problem. Please see the reply from your previous post to see where the problem originates.
If you decide to update the theme, please be aware that you might loose the edits that you performed on the theme files. I recommend using the child theme in the future. Also, before any update, please perform a complete backup of your site (files and database).

Ciprian, thank you for your responses. If I were to reinstall the theme fresh and start using child themes, I’m guessing I would lose all content and have to start over?
Also, I’ already backing up my whole site with Vaultpress.
How do I go about updating the theme to 1.1.0?April 2, 2018 at 9:57 pm #6062
I should also mention that I am able to edit all elements that are present on the page and I am able to clone and move them around. However, when it gets to actually adding elements, I can’t. Instead, I get all elements outlined on the page and nothing happens.April 4, 2018 at 10:38 pm #6065
If you decide to use the child theme, you just have to upload it to your WP and activate it. You won’t loose any content that you have on your site. If you just activate the (empty) child theme provided in the download package, nothing (visible) changes on your site. Afterwards, using the child theme, you can easily modify/add stuff to the main theme without actually modifying any file of the main theme. This way, you will be able to update the main theme without loosing any edits you performed. You can just perform the update by overwriting the files of the main theme.
For the PageBuilder issue, as I told you in the other thread, I could use the access credentials to your site. You can post them in a new post and mark it as a private reply. This way, only you and the keymasters can see the content.

I was able to figure this out: one of the plugins was conflicting the the pagebuilder. Thank you!
