I’m running into an issue where the Testimonial Sliders are not longer working. It worked for some time, and then I started seeing “Please configure element” even though it was completely set up. At that point, it disappeared from the website. I still have the testimonial slider show up in the page builder but it doesn’t go live. I have the same issue for all testimonial sliders.

I see that you altered zn_script.js file and added code that is in error. At line 903 of this file, you have some HTML code
Moreover, I recommend using the child theme to add your own custom JS code. It’s a good practice to leave the original theme files unaltered and create your own copies of the files you want to edit. Please read the documentation to see how to use the child theme (which is provided in the download package). It’s simple and you won’t have problems updating the theme.
This is most probably the cause for your Testimonial sliders, but also for a lot of other things (PageBuilder included). To know that for sure, try temporarily removing your custom code and see if the problem is fixed.

Thank you for your response. I removed the custom div and JS code from the zn_script.js file – that was the only code I added manually and have not changed anything else in any of the files. I used the Raw HTML element in the pagebuilder instead. I cleared the cache but still not able to add elements in the pagebuilder. Although, the testimony slider is now working, thank you!April 4, 2018 at 10:31 pm #6064
Indeed, now there’s no error in your (front-end) pages. But if you say that the PageBuilder is still not working, there might be an error in other files. When you enter in PageBuilder edit mode, several additional JS files are loaded (files that are not loaded in the front-end). Now I really cannot say what the problem is without looking at your site in PageBuilder edit mode. Can you give me access credentials to your site?
If you can’t give me access to your site, here’s a few things you can try:
– enter PageBuilder edit mode and inspect your browser’s JS console (ex Chrome Developer Tools) for any JS error
– temporarily disable all the plugins and see if the PageBuilder starts working
– inspect the error log of your server (from cPanel) immediately after trying to use the PageBuilder
– try using a different browser or a different computer. Or try using the incognito/private browsing

Ok, I figured it out: Looks like one of the plugins was conflicting with the PageBuilder. I appreciate all your help, sir!
