We are using WPEngine for hosting of our site with the CleanLab Theme. When migrating over to the production, the Iconmoon feature seems to break. In the backend, most of the icons are boxes or Mandarin symbols.
This is what it looks like on http://hawthornetemp.wpengine.com/ after the migration. (Production)
http://hawthornetemp.staging.wpengine.com/ Is the stage.
What do you think may be happening? Seems to be the only issue when migrating.April 19, 2017 at 11:13 pm #5803
You have to save the theme options on your new location and then reload the page. You don’t have to modify anything. Just saving the options regenerates a file that holds the location of the icon file(s). After saving the options, clear your browser’s cache and reload the site. That should be all.
The reason for this issue is that the icon file reference is held in a file that is generated every time you save the options. Right now it points to your staging site and even if that location is valid, it breaks a CORS policy and that is an error on most browsers.
Let me know if it works.

Are you referring to the white x inside a red circle to the right of the name of the font? If so, that x is for deleting the font file. Be careful though because it deletes the file without confirmation.
