Considering that we will release our first update, please find here a short tutorial on how to properly update the theme :
1. Install the “Envato toolkit” plugin that comes with the theme
2. Open Envato Toolkit settings page
3. Enter your Themeforest username and API key
4. When the theme update is available, you should be prompted to update.
5. Perform the update as you ussualy do with a theme/plugin update
6. Go to Untitled options > Advanced and press the Refresh pagebuilder data ( this will ensure that the pagebuilder data cache is properly cleared )

Where is step 2? After I install and go to plugins page to fine settings, I don’t see anything but “deactivate”.
How do I open toolkit settings?
Thanks.October 8, 2014 at 4:59 pm #1137
When you first install the theme , you are prompted to also install Envato WordPress toolkit plugin. You will need to install this plugin and set it up before seing step 2.
Please let me know if you need further help.

Yes, it’s set up already, now what do I do? I must be missing something, where is the Envato Toolkit settings page located?

This page can be found inside the WordPress Dashboard menu ( the menu on the right side in your admin ).

Is it sufficient to backup the Template folder via ftp before performing an upgrade?February 2, 2015 at 2:03 pm #2240
Yes. Our updates doesn’t do any Database manipulation to the database. It only replaces the existing theme files.

Is there a custom css file that overwrites the changes in the template?
When I update the Theme all m changes are lost every time.
Best P.February 6, 2015 at 9:46 am #2336
For custom css, please use the style.css file from the child theme. You can find a preconfigured child theme in the download package. Read more about the child themes here or read our documentation.
If you already use the style.css from your child theme, please do not overwrite it when updating the theme!
If you already use the style.css from your child theme and did not overwrite it and still lost your customization, there may be another issue: if there are identical selectors in both the child theme and the primary theme, the selectors from the primary theme win. Please try the fix suggested here: http://support.themefuzz.com/support/topic/logos/#post-2123 (we will incorporate this fix into the upcoming update)
Let us know if this solves your issue.
